Transparent estimates
How Blueberry prices are calculated
The website, API and MCP tools share the same calculation. An estimate is not a final charge, inventory guarantee, or comparison across all pharmacies.
Medication cost and fees
Estimate = acquisition cost per dispensing unit × effective quantity × 1.08 + fill/supply fees.
| Fee assumption | Non-member | Member |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 30 days / 1 GM or ML package | $11.15 | $4.15 |
| 31–91 days / 2+ GM or ML packages | $16.15 | $6.15 |
EA quantities
EA products use an explicit quantity and a patient/prescription-supplied daily dose. Fee days = quantity ÷ dose, rounded to the nearest day, minimum 1. Above 91 fee days, fees stack in 90-day chunks with a remainder. At 91 days one long-fill fee applies; at 92 days a 90-day fill and a 2-day fill apply.
GM and ML packages
Effective quantity = number of packages × package size. One package uses the 30-day fee; two or more use a single 90-day fee. These are fee assumptions, not clinical days supply. More than 3 packages may require membership or extra service fees; contact the pharmacy.
Membership and exclusions
Membership is optional: $18 per quarter or $60 per year, paid separately. A cheaper member medication estimate is not the full cost for a new member.
- Membership purchase ($18/quarter or $60/year) is separate from member medication prices.
- Delivery is excluded: published non-member delivery is $3.99; membership includes quarterly delivery. Destination, frequency and eligibility must be confirmed.
- More than 3 packages may require membership or an additional service fee; this is not included.
- Prescription, stock, shipping eligibility and final pharmacy charges require confirmation.
Read the published membership and delivery policy. The calculator fee schedule above governs these estimates; other website examples may use different inputs.
Freshness and coverage
Prices use a cached copy of the pharmacy pricing feed. “Refreshed at” is the last successful feed retrieval, not the time this page was requested or a per-product price-change timestamp. The normal refresh interval is 15 minutes. Persistent and bundled snapshots keep searches responsive when the upstream feed is unavailable; expired or unknown timestamps are labeled stale. Confirm stale prices before filling.
The catalog is not a complete medication terminology or inventory database. Missing, malformed or conflicting price records have no public quote. No stock counts are exposed. A search suggestion never establishes clinical equivalence or authorization to substitute.
Rounding and medication lists
Individual estimates round to two decimals. Complete-list totals round the sum of unrounded estimates, matching the calculator cart, so totals may differ slightly from adding displayed line prices. If any item fails, no full-list total is shown: only a clearly labeled successful-items subtotal.
